George and Gracie, what a delight! I remember watching them on black and white TV in the early ‘fifties; I must have been about four or five. TV wasn’t bad for children then. I watched Lamb Chop, too, but that was a little later. Shari Lewis was wonderful. At the risk of sounding like a codger, I do believe television was much better then.
Thanks for you comment roadtripp! Part of my reason for putting this one up is that it’s 25-30 years before the TV George and Gracie! We just don’t often think of them this young…

The only thing that’s recognizable from there to “Oh, God!” is the voice.
