As much trouble as I had getting italics right I don’t think I would risk trying to post a photo, although I do it frequently in forums, with a different format. But my mother is 85, healthy in mind and body, reads voraciously and, though we no longer live near each other, are very close friends. I enjoy her company better than that of almost anyone I know. We have long telephone chats every other day.
Don’t get her started on religion [in general or in particular], though, as she is a devout atheist and hates religion passionately. As a Christian, I try to steer clear of the topic. Politically, she has been leftist and I more to the right but we are currently both finding ourselves more in the middle, so politics are a viable discussion topic.

I shall be crushed when she passes.

Hopefully, mockturtle, that time is far in the future- as w/my folks.
God’s timing.
It’s a beautiful picture, Ron- too bad your dad skooched away.
