Cool!
I went to a Yoga Weekend at Atlantique Beach on Fire Island last May, before the summer visitors started coming in. There were deer standing nonchalantly on people’s front lawns.
One morning during the Yoga class, someone looked out the window and gasped. We looked up and there were three adolescent male deer with little budding antlers on their heads, staring back at us. It looked like some deer version of the movie “Stand By Me.” We gaped at them and they took off into the woods, probably looking for The Body. ;)
