Better yet, if people have the time and ability, listen to/watch him deliver the speech in its entirety, which I took the time to do and which prompted my e-mail to Annie (and others): NJN broadcast. (I accidentally repeated a link and failed to include this one directly. It’s worth the time, IMO.)
We’re on an express elevator to Hell – going down! Expect to start seeing a LOT of stories like the one from New Jersey, and like this one from Yonkers. As CR commenter like to point out, sales tax figures don’t lie. This fall we’ll either see state and local governments start jettisoning mass numbers (driving unemployment up even further) or we’ll see the federal government start pumping even more money into state and local governments. Anyone for another half-trillion in stimulus? Bueller? Bueller?
IN a related story, today is a protest day across the nation – college students have finally found something to protest. Unfortunately they don’t explain where the money is supposed to come from….

Outstanding! Unbelievably direct and honest. Anyone who doesn’t click through and read will definitely miss out.
Wish there were more like him. (What Arnold promised Christie is delivering.)

And thanks, Annie.
(P.S. Go, Chris, go!)

Ugh. Sorry for the grammar in the third sentence. I forgot that I had only partly re-written that sentence.
