    Just discovered that this guy is running for David Obey’s seat. One of the most liberal and longest-serving members of Congress, Obey is retiring 41 years after first achieving fame by winning a special election called after Melvin Laird was appointed Defense Secretary by Nixon in 1969.

    [EDIT] “This guy,” is Sean Duffy. It seems he was reasonably famous before entering politics.
